Swiss Color is a recent addition to the PMUHub offering, and we could not be more excited about this - and after reading this article, you will be too!
Swiss Color is a European brand born in Switzerland and Austria. Founded in 2003 by PMU and paramedical tattooing expert Ingrid Bregenzer and her sister Helga Langreiter, the brand always had a clear vision:
“Together with our dedicated team, we are constantly striving to develop products that are second to none, allowing our customers to achieve the stunning results they desire.”
And Swiss Color doesn’t have any real competition; with a strong focus on innovation, they fall into the premium category of PMU supplies with an unparalleled range of products and a well-developed line of products for paramedical tattooing, which is a sector many brands fall behind in.
Their core values are definitely striving for constant improvement, so the company never stops product research and development.
Swiss Color Brow Pigments 204 Hazel Brown & 205 Dark Brown
All Swiss Color pigments meet the highest criteria in terms of formulation and results they provide. But the color ranger is so wide, obviously not all of them are equally popular.
If we’re looking at eyebrow pigments, we picked out 2 very versatile shades that meet the needs of a wide range of clients: 204 Hazel Brown and 205 Dark Brown. 2 rich brown shades, 1 lighter, 1 darker.
204 Hazel Brown is a blonde, lighter brown. When used pure, it gives a warmer, medium brown color. It leans towards a warm tone, with almost equal content of yellow and orange.
205 Dark Brown is most often used as a base for adding different shades of brown from the Swiss Color range to achieve different medium to dark brown shades. It’s a neutral brown that gives a medium coverage with a decent amount of yellow in it.
These 2 are perfect for mixing together in different ratios for creating a palette for blonde to brunette clients.

BONUS: Swiss Color Mixing Bottle
And to make those gorgeous custom pigment mixes, Swiss Color offers these budget-friendly, disposable plastic bottles for mixing. This is something not many brand think about, but we’re sure you’ll find them super useful!
They come in 3 sizes with droppers. Best used with the Swiss Color Pigment Shaker!
Swiss Color 712 Olive Pigment in 0.16 fl oz (5ml)
As many artists we spoke to recently point out, correction treatments are rising in demand, and one of the most common cases they encounter are brows faded into warm, orange-ish tones over time.
Swiss Color has a secret weapon for those cases - their 712 Olive Pigment. According to the brand, it neutralizes these unwanted color tints in the eyebrows and transforms them into neutral mid-brown tones.
It’s suitable for mixing together with other shades as a modifier or for use as a corrector. It’s definitely a must-have addition to your Swiss Color pigment range!
Swiss Color Pigment Sealer
Where other brands stick to a thinning and thickening solution, Swiss Color has developed a range of “helpers” as they call them - formulas used for pigment mixes, during or after the treatment which are meant to adapt and maximize the performance of the pigments.
The most popular and versatile helper from that range is the Pigment Sealer.
It’s used over the brows and lips after the treatment, as a protective film that keeps bacteria away from freshly treated skin and keeps your client safe. It also improves retention, as it reduces the formation of scabs in that first, early stage of PMU healing.
Swiss Color Contour Drawing Pen Set
Good PMU starts with a good sketch. And more importantly, with a resilient sketch that won’t smudge easily. Swiss Color knows this, which is why they developed a wide range of drawing pencils in as many as 10 colors.
Smooth application with a harder consistency, they maximize your precision and offer really good stability and resilience to smudging.
The drawing set gives you a lot. 10 full-sized pencils, including everyone’s favorite white, and the specialized sharpener (which customers have been going crazy for!).
You can also buy every piece of this set on its own, including the sharpener. Click here to explore Swiss Color mapping supplies.
Swiss Color Grazia Aftercare Cream
We know you love small, single-dose aftercare you can give to your clients to take home. And Swiss Color’s Grazia Aftercare cream comes in cute little 0.16 fl oz (5 ml) jars - not sachets, which makes it super convenient as it keeps the product from getting contaminated.
And the best part is that you can buy them as individual pieces, you don’t have to buy a box of 50 if you only have a handful of clients!
The consistency is best described as a semi-solid emulsion. The formula contains vitamin E, a little bit of petrolatum, and a whole lot of water: about 30%!
It’s supposed to be applied 2-3 times with a clean cotton pad.
