BIOTEK Milano is a PMU supply brand with a long history, and many of their products are fan favorites, especially among artists from Europe. What makes BIOTEK stand the test of time is the fact that the current brand leader, Francesca Froio, is a PMU artist and trainer herself.
This means she uses the products on a daily basis - so who better to present them?
Francesca loves talking about BIOTEK products, and she recently decided to guide us through the aftercare line. Let’s find out exactly how Francesca uses Armony, Skin Jelly and Gloss Bomb - and why you need to try them!
When & How Francesca Uses Armony
“Armony is a calming cream that removes redness and swelling from brows and lips.” explains Francesca. She always keeps a jar of Armony on her tray during both brow and lip procedures, and applies it in a thicker layer as soon as she finishes the final pass. She keeps it on for 10 minutes, and then removes it.
And Francesca advises you to do the exact same thing right after lip blush.
If your client got her brows done, they get a sachet of skin Armony to take home. “She’s gonna use Armony in the very first evening immediately after my procedure. She’s gonna need to apply a heavy layer on her brows, leave it on for 10 minutes, and then remove it. She’s gonna do the same thing again in the morning after the procedure.”
After that, Armony has done its magic - your client has gone through that initial stage of healing without irritation. After that, it’s time for the next BIOTEK aftercare product.
Armony contains shea butter, aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and a whole string of deeply nourishing and skin-soothing ingredients. It comes in a jar of 3.38 fl oz (100 ml) and as 0.13 (4 ml) sachets which you can buy as singles or as a box of 50 on PMUHub.
When & How Francesca Uses Skin Jelly
As Francesca explains, “Since the Skin Jelly is a vaseline-based cream, the vaseline molecules are quite big and they do not penetrate under the skin, they are not absorbed by the skin. So this cream works sort of like a plaster to protect the wounded from any possible pollution.”
So Francesca instructs her client to use Skin Jelly in a thin layer before showering, or any other activity that could compromise the freshly treated brows or lips, like a workout, or a visit to the spa. After the risky activity is finished, the client should gently remove the Skin Jelly and let the skin breathe.
She advises clients to do this for about a week, until the scabs flake off.
Skin Jelly is also great for the lips.
Just like Armony, Skin Jelly comes in a jar of 3.38 fl oz (100 ml) and as 0.13 (4 ml) sachets.
When & How Francesca Uses Gloss Bomb
The Gloss Bomb is a vitamin E lip serum conveniently packaged as a lip gloss. It’s not just an aftercare product - it’s also the perfect prep for a lip blush procedure. Francesca sells it to her clients when they come in for consultations (guys, this is extra income for your salon!) and instructs them to use it for 7 days before the procedure.
“When she arrives, her lips are hydrated and there is no dry patches, and the needle will be able to glide on the lip very easily. It will be easier for you to implant the pigment. It will be less traumatic for the lips.”
But the benefits of Gloss Bomb don’t end there.
“With the same bottle, she should continue to use it after the procedure as an aftercare product, because, of course, what’s better than pure vitamin E to really hydrate your lips?”
“After lip PMU, everyone suffers of extreme dryness to the lips and this product is the key to overcome it! A bomb of hydration for your lips! It’s really going to hydrate the lips from inside.”
And plus, your clients will love their new lip color even more if their lips are stunningly glossed up all the time!
Gloss Bomb is available on PMUHub as individual 0.07 fl oz (2 ml) tubes, or you can get a 10-tube package with a display stand which will look great in your consultation room!
